The Agency for the Development of e-Government and the Information and Knowledge Society (AGESIC) is an executing unit under the Presidency of Uruguay with technical autonomy. Its purpose is to lead the E-Government strategy and its implementation in the country as the basis for an efficient and citizen-centered State, promoting access to information and inclusion and equity in information and communication technologies.

eNotifications

Previously, every time any State entity had to notify a citizen of the resolution of a procedure, request or communicate information, it was essential for the person to go to the agency that had issued the document. The Electronic Notifications and Communications System (eNotifications) that we developed allows all public agencies in the country to send legally valid notifications and communications to all citizens, companies, or other public agencies.

Request to Access Public Information

Through this solution, the citizen can request information, through an automated mechanism, from any of the public agencies subscribed to the system. The solution also includes tools to statistically analyze the process of handling requests, detecting bottlenecks, the time spent at each stage, and the responses delivered.

My Notices

My Notices (Mis avisos) is a mobile device app that allows sending citizens notices about relevant events. Finally, to simplify the relationship between citizens and the State, the project provides a platform capable of optimizing resources and costs for both the agencies that send notices and the citizens who are notified.
